MILE HIGH

I spent a great weekend (last weekend that is) in Denver with great friends. Friday night following yappy hour, an extravaganza of sorts at Clara and Andy's doggy day care, I met up with Mike and his girlfriend Stacey, along with Mike's sister Katie, who I had not seen forever at Forest Room Five in the Highlands for Dinner.  Saturday was packed with a twins game and another amazing dinner out at Carmine's on Penn. Sunday morning was great as I got up at 5am to watch the 1/2 marathon that Clara, Anni, Baird (Clara's dad), Andy and Karen (Anni's mom) participated in. I was joined by my trusty superfans Tim and Sara! Post marathon we had a wonderful brunch at Anni's for Clara's Birthday.  All and all a great weekend with friends!

ALOHA APRIL

We had an amazing April trip to Kauai. The island was so amazingly beautiful. Here are a few photos.

rest in peace

Robert Rauschenberg is gone. I love his art.

Design

My blog should probably be entitled, ways to distract yourself from getting anything real done, and in that vein this room design template from the Victoria and Albert museum site is amazing.  So fun to play with! Click here to try!

90210

Oh god this is dangerous. I have discovered through a little wine induced google time that we have the privilege of watching full episodes of 90210 online. I love the classic pic above, light denim, rolled tee shirt sleeves and those oh so flattering tapered jeans! This is BAD news for productivity levels at my casa, now that I can have Kelly, Steve, Brenda and the gang over any time. Click here!

California Dreamin'

That very edgy co. (sometimes a little TOO edgy, think crazy founder guy) American Apparel has a great new idea. They are sending their savvy buyers out, getting great vintage pieces then selling them through e bay. The stuff is cool. Of course if you are motivated you could simply go out and comb the vintage racks yourself to save some green. Anyway check it out by clicking here!

Another year comes to an end at Aspen Mountain

It was the usual debauchery and craziness this year at the Aspen Mountain Patrol end of the year party. We had a great time and take notice of Dale's boss Bill Cosby sweater!

Almost (fingers crossed) SUMMER!

Summer is right around the corner and that has got me thinking about nights spent outdoors with friends and a cold drink. Check out this slide show of lanterns that would make any outdoor space sparkle. CLICK HERE
